Longbridge Control Plane · Private beta

Run one Kubernetes cluster across your homelab, Hetzner, and AWS.

We manage the control plane. You bring the nodes. We never tax them.

The mechanic

The control plane is the span. Your nodes are the piers.

A Kubernetes control plane — etcd, certificates, upgrades, availability — is the part that's genuinely annoying to run well. Longbridge runs that span for you. Everything underneath it, the compute that actually costs money, is hardware you already own, anywhere.

  • Homelab, Hetzner, AWS, a Pi in the closet — joined as one cluster.
  • Outbound-only node join. NAT and home networks just work.
  • One kubeconfig. Standard tooling. Nothing proprietary.

Pricing

Flat price for the control plane. Your nodes, always free.

One flat price per replica, by size — and each size is exactly double the last. Pick a size the way you'd pick an instance type; a cluster runs one replica by default. Never a bill that grows with your nodes.

Small

€7/mo · per replica

A home cluster or a side project.

  • Your own nodes — always free
  • Managed, patched control plane
  • Comfortable for ~5 nodes
  • Community support

Large

€28/mo · per replica

Production across several clouds.

  • Your own nodes — always free
  • Twice the size again
  • Room for many objects and nodes
  • Priority support

Ex-VAT. Indicative during the private beta — we'll confirm before we charge anything, and tell you before anything changes. No per-vCPU tax, no surprise overage meter: exceed a size and we prompt an upgrade, never a shock bill.

Need redundancy? Add replicas.

Every cluster runs one control-plane replica by default. Add more at the same per-replica price — they scale the control plane out and let it shrug off a lost pod or a lost management node. You pay for exactly what runs, not a flat “HA surcharge.”

That's control-plane redundancy. We'll call it high availability once your datastore is redundant too — the same clusters, no price change. We don't use the word until it's true.

Add-ons

Attach only what you need.

Each is a flat price per cluster. The two that meter — backup storage and ingress traffic — bill by bytes you can count, cap where you tell them to, and opt out to a genuine zero.

€5/mo In early access

Backup & restore

Your cluster, recoverable — with restores we actually test.

etcd + volume snapshots to EU storage. 250 GB included, then €4 / 250 GB. Capped; opt out for €0.

€4/mo In early access

Public ingress

A reachable address for apps on homelab or NAT’d nodes.

A dedicated IPv4 + a relay we forward but never decrypt. 500 GB included, then €0.04 / GB. The direct path stays free.

€9/mo On the roadmap

Monitoring

Managed Prometheus, Grafana & alerting — off your own hardware.

100k series + 30 GB logs, 30-day history. Flat — unlimited users, no per-seat fee.

€5/mo On the roadmap

Single sign-on

OIDC login to your cluster, wired to your identity provider.

Audit-logged access, no shared kubeconfigs. Flat — unlimited users, no per-seat fee.

€5/mo On the roadmap

CI runners

GitHub Actions runners on the nodes you already own.

A managed runner controller in your cluster. Flat — unlimited minutes, never per-minute.

€19/mo was €23

Essentials bundle

Backup, ingress, monitoring & single sign-on — together, below the à la carte price.

Per cluster. Metered allowances still apply, still capped.

A calculator to put your real Longbridge bill next to EKS, Sidero Omni, and Cloudfleet — including the cases where they come out ahead — is on the way.

The honest part

No node tax

You pay a flat price for the control plane. Never per vCPU, per node, or per gigabyte of the hardware you already own.

No lock-in

Standard, conformant Kubernetes and a plain kubeconfig. Bring your nodes across any cloud — and walk away with them whenever you like.

No bait-and-switch

Honest defaults, no dark patterns — and we'll tell you before anything ever changes.

Early access

Stop paying tax on hardware you already own.

Longbridge Control Plane is in private beta, and a public waitlist is opening soon. Until then, drop us a line and we'll reach out as we open up — honest pricing, no surprises.
